Polylactic Acid
Polylactic acid, commonly known as PLA, is a renewable bioplastic typically made by processing corn starch. Other sources include cassava, sugarcane, and sugar beet pulp. It is our preferred material for 3D printing because of it prints easily, making durable and slightly flexible prints.
Thermoplastic Polyurethane
Thermoplastic polyurethane (or TPU) is an elastic polymer that is great for making flexible parts. Its high strength and flexibility make it great for making corner guards for babyproofing, protective cases, and snug fitting tool holders.
